Open Spaces Cranswick Village Pond Lies in the centre of the village green on Main Street, Cranswick, it is approximately 6.5 acres in size and was registered as a green in the late 1960s. |
Also situated on the eastern corner of the Green is the village's sun clock on the site of the old Church Rooms, this was previously the Girls'School, built in 1854 and demolished in the 1990s War Memorial The War Memorial stands on the village green next to the pond. The memorial was installed in 1921 to commemorate those who died during the Great War and was paid for by subscription by the parishioners |

Garden allotments

Playing Field
on Rotsea Lane, Hutton was previously a farming allotment, this is let to the Hutton Cranwick Sports & Recreation Association on a long term lease.
Gatehouse Lake
A fishing and wildlife area on Rotsea Lane, is let the Hutton Cranswick Angling Club on a long term lease.
Centenary Wood
Situated on Hutton Road between Hutton and Cranswick was originally chalk pit in the "old days", then a rubbish tip and latterly a wildlife life area.Just over 3 acres in size this village amenity was purchased by the parish council from the then Humberside County Council in the 1980s.
